On Sunday 16 February 2014 economist Sameer Al-Jarrad from the Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development visited the Faculty of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine at An-Najah University. Mr. Al-Jarrad was greeted by Dr. Suleiman Al-Khalil, Dean of Agriculture and Veterinary medicine, Heads of Faculty and a number of the administrative members and staff.

Dr. Al-Khalil introduced the guest to the Faculty settings, future plans, agricultural and scientific developments and the services offered for the local community in the fields of animal, plant and food production. He also thanked Mr. Al-Jarrad for his visit and applauded his personal efforts and that of the Arab Fund which has contributed aid to support development projects in Palestine, helping to establish parameters of sustainable development in all sectors.
