The Plant Production and Protection Department of An-Najah's Faculty of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine and the Applied Research Institute (ARIJ) held a workshop on the impact of climate change on agriculture and human beings.

The workshop addressed different topics on climate change and presented research papers on reducing the effect of climate change, including rainfall retention and high temperature.

ARIJ Institute also presented a number of studies about irrigation methods to improve water-use efficiency, field crops productivity and water harvesting.
