Dr. Mohammad Sabah from the Faculty of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine has recently participated at the National meeting 'A. Castellani' of PhD students in biochemical sciences.

The event took place on June 3th -June 7th, 2019 in Brallo di Pregola, Italy.

As part of the meeting activities, Dr. Sabah gave a lecture on Bioplastics. Bioplastics are plastics derived from renewable biomass sources, such as vegetable fats and oils, corn starch, straw, woodchips, food waste, etc. Bioplastic can be made from agricultural by-products and also from used plastic bottles and other containers using microorganisms.
