Dr. Munqeth Shtayyeh and a student group from the Plant Production ‎& Protection Department of the Faculty of Agriculture and Veterinary ‎Medicine at An-Najah University participated in a tree-trimming ‎campaign in Jabara and Kafr 'Abbush villages, which lie near the ‎Israel's separation wall. ‎

The campaign aims to give practical support and assistance to ‎Palestinian farmers and land owners whose lands are threatened with ‎confiscation by the Israeli occupation. It also aims to raise awareness ‎of what is happening to Palestinians in such troubled areas.‎ This activity provided the students with an opportunity to apply the ‎different skills they acquired in a real work environment. In addition, ‎it contributed to equipping students with the necessary skills to be ‎ready for employment as agricultural engineers. ‎
