The Nutrition and Food Technology Department in cooperation with UNRWA's vocational training program of nursing organized a training workshop about clinical care for diabetes patients for university students.


 

The workshop included training on how to do neurological examination and other tests that can determine the type of peripheral neuropathy the diabetes patient has.

It also included training on how to prevent diabetic foot problems as people with diabetes are prone to foot problems that develop due to prolonged periods of high blood sugar levels.
