As part of its National Nutrition Month activities, the Department of Nutrition and Food Technology at An-Najah National University, in collaboration with the Cooperative Association for Saving and Credit for Women Entrepreneurs in Nablus, organized a community awareness event at Rujeib Elementary Boys' School.

The initiative aimed to encourage healthy eating as a sustainable lifestyle, promoting well-being among various segments of the community. Dr. Manal Badrasawi led the session, emphasizing the vital role of a nutritious diet in supporting physical health and overall well-being.

The event featured hands-on demonstrations on the preparation of healthy meals and natural juices, equipping participants with practical skills to integrate healthy eating into their daily routines.

In addition, body composition analyses were offered to participating women, assessing body fat distribution, muscle mass, and overall weight. This component provided personalized insights, fostering better understanding and management of individual health needs.

At the close of the event, both the school administration and the Cooperative Association honored Dr. Badrasawi for her dedication and ongoing contributions to health awareness initiatives. In turn, Dr. Badrasawi expressed her appreciation to the school and the association for their warm hospitality and collaboration in making the event a success.
