An-Najah National University, in collaboration with the Jenin Directorate of Agriculture and in partnership with the Palestinian Standards Institute (PSI) and the Palestinian Economic and Social Development Center (ESDC), and with funding from Islamic Relief, has distributed agricultural supplies to 90 farmers who implement safe agriculture practices and the Palestinian Good Agricultural Practices (PAL GAP) system in the towns of Burqin, Kafr Dan, Jalama, Jilbon, and Deir Abu Da'if.

This activity is part of the project aimed at enhancing the resilience of farmers and improving livelihoods through safe agricultural practices.

The project seeks to improve the ability of small-scale farmers and agricultural cooperatives to access safe, high-quality food, open new marketing opportunities for agricultural products, and increase profitability by awarding PAL GAP certification for the products produced by these farmers, which are registered within the system.

The distributed agricultural supplies included fertilizers, pesticides, sprayers, and protective clothing tailored to the specific needs of each farmer.
