Dr. Heba Al-Fares, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture and Veterinary ‎Medicine met with the Secours Islamique France – Gaza Strip Office ‎and Al-Azhar University delegation.

The meeting aimed to share opinions, thoughts and observations on ‎future possible areas of collaboration in the fields of safe farming, ‎organic agriculture and veterinary medicine.‎

During the meeting, Dr. Qubbaj mentioned that the University's ‎Center for Agricultural Training and Research offers the faculty ‎students training programs over a period of a full growing season. ‎These programs focus on training students on speeding up crop ‎growth and implementing the integrated pest management controls ‎approach.‎

Following the meeting, the delegation was given a tour of the faculty's ‎farm and facilities. The delegates were able to learn more about the ‎Faculty of Agriculture's training units and its farming methods. ‎
